Sepulveda VA Medical Center’s Van Schedule For Pick Up Locations And Approximate Times

Pick Up times are approximate within 15 minutes due to traffic however vans are not wheelchair accessible.   The drivers are all volunteers and the van service is not responsible for lost items.  Passengers using the vans are not eligible for travel pay.

The Ventura DAV Van will transport any qualified Veteran, at no cost to the Sepulveda VAMC Out-Patient Clinic.  Veterans are to call 805-659-7525 for rides and information.   Transportation is also provided from the Sepulveda facility to the West Los Angeles Medical Facility at no cost to the Veteran.  Reservations must be made at least three day in advance of their appointments.  The Veteran must be able to enter and exit the van without assistance.  Priority is reserved for Service Connected Patients. 

The present pickup locations are listed below.  The van will not stop at a location if no Veterans are scheduled for a pickup.   Don’t be a no show!   Someone else may need a ride.  The driver is not allowed to act as an escort.  If a Veteran needs an escort, the Veteran must provide their own.  Veterans are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes early of the pickup time.  Drivers may wait up to 5 minutes if the schedule allows.

6:58 a.m.    Old Rite Aid Building / Bus Stop near Telegraph Road – Ventura

7:12 a.m.    Carl’s Jr. Restaurant – Victoria Avenue – Ventura

7:30 a.m.    Carl’s Jr. on Channel Islands Boulevard near Victoria Avenue – Port Hueneme

7:35 a.m.    Center Point Mall at Channel Islands Boulevard & Saviers Road – Oxnard

7:40 a.m.    Oxnard Transit Center – Fourth Street near Oxnard Boulevard

7: 50 a.m.   Carl’s Jr.  Las Posas Road near Highway 101 - Camarillo

8:05 a.m.    Public Service Building near Highway 101 – Thousand Oaks
